About this Class

HTML may sound like it is in the realms of programmers and hackers, but it is actually very accessible. HTML is all about creating a document that both you and your browser understands.

I want to show you through the lens of typography how easy it is to understand basic HTML, and create a simple web page.  You will learn about HTML, CSS, and gain a foundation for moving forward.

So bring your laptop, an open mind, and we’ll type set it for the web!  No prior experience with HTML is required.

Why I am teaching this class? Because it pains me to see designers intimidated by code, and I want to do something about it. Got a question or a request? Find me @tonyhschu!

Prerequisites

Bring a laptop, install Firefox and have a favourite text editor ready. If you don’t have a text editor, I would recommend TextWrangler for the Mac, or Notepad++ for the PC. You will be wrangling some code.
